S: Supports the HIPAA Covered Entity's HIPAA compliance causes.

I: Is involved in the use or disclosure of Protected Health Information.

N: No monitoring from the HIPAA Covered Entity is required, no-brainers.

E: Embarks on its own HIPAA compliance liability destination.

S: Secures the HIPAA Covered Entity's Protected Health information.

S: Secures a Business Associate Agreement with its Subcontractors.

A: Accounts to each clause of the Business Associate Agreement.

S: Satisfies the HIPAA Covered Entity's HIPAA compliance requirements.

S: Stores electronic Protected Health Information received, in fully encrypted environments.

O: Operates on behalf of the HIPAA Covered Entity, of course.

C: Controls access to Protected Health Information, within its possession.

I: Is not a member of the HIPAA Covered Entity's workforce.

A: Assumes responsibility

for the confidentiality,

privacy,

security,

and integrity

of the HIPAA Covered Entity's Protected Health Information. T: Transmits back or destroys Protected Health Information received, per the agreement.
